Our Purpose
Our purpose at Eager Minds is to assist and support families in the education of their children. The motive behind this is to glorify God as we allow Him to create opportunities for our students to discover and pursue their interests. As believers in God, we desire to be used by Him to create a thirst for knowledge and righteousness. As we instruct and lead our students, God will increase their abilities to accomplish His purposes, bringing Him glory.
The programs offered by Eager Minds are not designed to meet all the educational needs of a child; rather they are intended to supplement the education received in their home learning environment.
Statement of Faith
Eager Minds has a statement of faith that is reflected in its purpose as stated above. The statement of faith is not meant to exclude anyone from Eager Minds; rather, it is presented so that anyone wishing to participate in our programs will be aware of our tenets. Along with our purpose, this statement will serve as a foundation for unity in teaching, for mutual support, and for developing character within our students, which will be an outgrowth of their faith.
We Believe…
- The 66 books of the Bible, as originally written, are the inerrant, inspired Word of God and the complete and final revelation of God’s will.
- There is one God who is eternally existent in three equal persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
- The Genesis account of creation is true, and we believe that God intentionally creates each person to reflect His holy and righteous image as male or female.
- Humankind, though created in God’s image, has been separated from God by sin through birth and rebellious nature.
- Jesus Christ came to earth to pay the penalty for our sins by His death on the cross. Salvation and eternal life are offered as a free gift to each person.
- Genuine repentance and trust in Christ will result in personal salvation and lead to a commitment to God and love for Him.
